PERFORMANCE TRAINING CENTRE
Performance Training Centre is based in Frankston, Victoria. It has only one goal, to make people better versions of themselves. It doesn't promise anything. Whatever you achieve is because you worked hard to achieve it. There are no fad training styles, no fad diets, no fad trainers. Old school is still the best school when it comes to training and nutrition. You will not find a treadmill or exercise bike, rower or stepper at PTC. There are plenty of Pleasure Spas that have those. You will find lots of heavy weights, power racks, Olympic bars and bumper plates, a 3m x 3m lifting platform, kettlebells, bands, chains, 90kg stones, dumbbells, sandbags, gripping implements, kegs and atmosphere.
I am the owner operator, and I won't tolerate lifters not trying to better themselves. A poor attitude goes through a gym like cancer. All I ask of the lifters there is that they try their hardest to improve. I have 30 years experience in weight training, Nina has numerous State and National powerlifting records in the sub 60kg class, as well as 4 World Records. Max won the WPC World Powerlifting Championship 82.5kg Teenage class, as well as Best teenage lifter at the 2010 Worlds.
We have 21 WPC Raw World records, as well as over 70 CAPO National Records, from teen classes to Masters, male and female. James Thompson is 61, he started lifting at 60. Eighteen months later he held 4 WPC World Records with a 202.5kg deadlift, 150kg squat and 95kg bench press, he is testament that hard work at any age can produce miraculous results. All 6 lifters that hold World Records were novices when they started at PTC, we didn’t inherit elite lifters, we made them. In three years, we have produced over 72 lifters that have deadlifted over 200kg without a belt, including 275kg by Nick Rankin at his first Powerlifting comp, the CAPO Vic State Titles, where PTC lifters set 56 National Records and we won the Open Men, Open Women and Junior title, finishing second in the teen class, almost a clean sweep at our first outing.
When you first come to PTC, it's best advised that you check your ego at the door. A poor attitude will not be tolerated. I have created a gym that I would love to train in, and filled it with clients that I would love to train with. I hold lots of competitions each year at PTC, with clients coming from every state and territory to compete.
I am also the Strength Coach of the Frankston Dolphins VFL Football club. Max and I train many athletes, from footballers, basketballers, MMA fighters, soccer players, cricketers and any other sport you can think of. I have lots of clients training to pass fitness exams for the Police Force, Fire Brigade, Army and any other job that requires a fitness assessment.
If this sounds like the kind of place you want to train at, simply contact me and arrange a session time. If you need to lose weight, get fitter, gain weight or simply get stronger, the only thing holding you back is you. Please read the newsletters on this site to get a feel for the place. It's not your average gym.
PTC is also home of ProRaw Powerlifting, the first professional Powerlifting federation in Australia. I have been running lifting comps on Australia Day since 2007, this tradition will continue. We recently held the CAPO National Deadlift comp at PTC and will continue to run CAPO comps from PTC.
So if you REALLY want to be Bigger/Stronger/Faster/Leaner, PTC Frankston is the place for you.
